FAN:dom Florida Convention

Hello, Visitor! I am Nautiboy and I welcome you to FAN:dom!

So, you may be wondering, “What exactly is FAN:dom?” To start things off, FAN:dom is a convention that covers over a variety of interests. It’s not just an anime or sci-fi convention. It’s both and more.

FAN:dom was created by a group of  students desiring to have a convention for each of their favorite fandoms called Con-Quest. Con-Quest is a club that meets at University of West Florida whose purpose is to quest for a convention.  Members attend meetings to give feedback on what is in the con and also  give input on what should be included in the con. To make sure that everything will be enjoyable for everyone, members also test run games and events that will be at the con as well as view anime choices and listen to and critique music that will be at the Rave and Masquerade. Board members and Con-Quest members that want to get their hands dirty meet up and dicuss the finer details of FAN:dom such as guests, schedules, decorations and more. It’s the meat and potatoes of FAN:dom, but we still need the fire of our Thursday night meetings to get everything cooking.

Hopefully you now understand where FAN:dom comes from and where we are planning to take it. So jump on our Nautilus Bandwagon and buckle your seatbelts. It’s gonna be a wild ride.
